This policy explains what personal data Fluxr Works collects through fluxrworks.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have written it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
When you contact us. The contact form collects your name, email address and message. You may optionally add your company, job title, phone number and LinkedIn profile.
When you subscribe. We collect your email address only.
When you comment on an article. We collect the name you enter, your comment, and optionally your email address. Your name and comment are shown publicly on the article. Your email address is never displayed and is not sent to other visitors' browsers.
When you apply for a role. We receive the CV and details you send to career@fluxrworks.com.
Automatically. Our host records standard server logs including IP address, browser type and pages requested. Pages that embed a Google Map or a Vimeo video allow those providers to set cookies and receive your IP address when the embed loads.
We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking or profiling tools on this website, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
Enquiry details are used to reply to you and to discuss and deliver work you asked about. The lawful basis is steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Subscription and comment details are used to send updates and to publish and moderate comments. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Recruitment information is used to assess your application. The lawful basis is steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms — delivers contact and subscription form submissions to our inbox.
- Supabase — stores blog comments.
- Google Fonts — serves typefaces; receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Google Maps — displays the map on our contact page.
- Vimeo — hosts the videos embedded on our work page.
- __HOSTING__ — hosts this website and keeps server logs.
- __EMAILPROVIDER__ — hosts our email.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
5. International transfers
We are based in India and some providers above process data outside your country. Where personal data of individuals in the EU or UK leaves those regions, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by the provider.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for __RETENTION_ENQUIRY__ from our last contact with you. Subscription details are kept until you unsubscribe. Comments remain until you or we remove them. Recruitment material is kept for __RETENTION_CV__ unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Server logs are kept for __RETENTION_LOGS__.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Where the GDPR applies you may also receive your data in a portable format and object to processing based on legitimate interests.

8. Grievance officer
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may raise a complaint with our grievance officer:

If our response does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. If you are in the EU or UK, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
9. Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to enquiry data is limited to team members who need it. Comment records are held behind database access controls so that email addresses are never exposed to other visitors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Where a change is significant we will say so clearly.
